Our first night in boston! :D

WE SERIOUSLY WOKE UP, AND RANDOMLY DECIDED TO GO TO BOSTON....WE DIDN'T EVEN REALLY GET READY.

On the train...I was Chillaxed....Mona on the other hand???

ICE STORM 2008

FREEZING COLD WEATHER!! LITTERALLY!!

IT HAS BEEN OVER 65 HOURS SINCE WE LAST HAD POWER...I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT GETS FIXED!

THERE WAS NO WIND THIS WAS ALL....WATER WEIGHT?? :)

FOLLOW THE.....FUN LITTLE PATH???

SCARY DRIVING!

LAST NIGHT WE GOT BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL AROUND 640 AND I WAS DROPPED OFF SO I COULD GET READY FOR THE BALL. I LIT 6 CANDLES IN MY ROOM, AND COULD LITTERALLY SEE MY BREATH, SO I GOT READY FOR THE BALL BY CANDLE LIGHT. LOL!!

WHEN I GOT BACK AROUND 1 IN THE MORNING, YOU COULD SEE MY BREATH IN MY ROOM!! I CURLED UP WITH A BOOK UNDER 5 BLANKETS AND FELL ASLEEP, WHEN I WOKE UP I POKED MY HEAD OUT AND IT WAS BELOW FREEZING!!

I GUESS THAT THE THIS HAS BEEN DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR THE WHOLE NEW ENGLAND AREA, THEY HAVE 18 CREWS THAT CAME DOWN FROM CANADA TO HELP GET THE POWER BACK UP. AND THEY SAY THAT OUR PART OF TOWN MIGHT HAVE POWER BY TUESDAY...BUT THAT WE SHOULDN'T GET OUR HOPES UP! BUMMER!!

ICE COATED EVERYTHING!!!

TASSIE TOLD ME THAT THE GROUND TEMPERTURE WAS COLDER THEN THE RAIN SO WHEN IT FELL TO THE GROUND IT FROZE AUTOMATICALLY.

ONLY 2 OF THESE TREES BROKE, THE REST ARE PERFECTLY FINE.

AND THEY ARE GRADUALLY STANDING BACK UP.

I SERIOUSLY COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! WELL FROM NOW ON I WILL DEFINITLY BE EXTRA THANKFUL WHEN I TURN ON THE LIGHT, OR SNUGGLE UP WITH ONE LITTLE BLANKY, OR EVEN USE THE BATHROOM! I HAVE DEFINITLY LEARNED ALOT ABOUT BLESSINGS THIS PAST WEEKEND.
